Plumbing Inspector Job Opening

A Plans Examiner/Inspector-Plumbing Inspector position has opened up in Park Ridge, IL.

Job Description:

Job Description: Inspects plumbing installation in buildings regulated by Municipal codes and ordinances; reviews plans and performs inspections of plumbing installations in all new construction and remodels of commercial and residential structures. Deals with issues related to complaint compliance; reviews plans for code compliance; inspects application and gains compliance with codes and ordinances.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

1. 3-5 years of progressively responsible related experience.
2. Knowledge of all applicable state, federal and local ordinances, laws, rules and regulations
3. A strong familiarity with construction prints a must
4. Basic computer knowledge.
5. Valid Illinois drivers’ license.
6. Current state plumber license
7. Familiarity in grading/engineering a plus.
